Children and Youth

Sunday School at St. Peter's is an interesting, involving, exciting   introduction to our faith for children preschool through 12th grade. All lessons are presented through interactive sight, sound and touch media for greater impact and participation. The scriptures come alive for children through involving presentations of Bible stories with ample opportunity for feedback and discussion.

The program is well-staffed and supported so that each child is given personal attention and guidance in getting the most in Christian   formation from the Sunday School experience. All 7th – 12th grade students are encouraged to become assistant faith mentors for their own development as well as for their encouragement and good example to the younger children.   Nursery care is offered for babies and toddlers during Sunday services

Sunday Care is a program designed to take care of the needs of all children when Sunday school is not in session. The Sunday Care meets as scheduled in the annual calendar of events and provides a forum for children to come together as a group and work on special seasonal projects designed to foster a greater awareness and appreciation about matters of faith that matter to us.
